Our Group Offerings
Spring 2020 Discipleship Group Offerings (Feb-May)
Discipleship Groups are short-term, weekly gatherings that convene for the purpose of transformation through scripture reading, prayer, and discussions of faith. This Spring all discipleship groups will be reading through the books of Ephesians and Philippians. Groups will meet either on the Hendersonville First United Methodist campus or in participant homes (see group descriptions) and are open to everyone in the community to build supportive relationships and grow in faith. Group leaders will follow up with participants prior to your first session to confirm details. For more information, contact Joshua Strader at email@example.com.
Spring 2020 Women's Bible Study (Feb-April)
Beginning February 5th, Hendersonville First United Methodist Church will host a short-term women’s Bible study entitled “Discerning the Voice of God,” featuring seven video sessions with Priscilla Shirer. The study is open to all women in the community and will convene each Wednesday at HFUMC from 10-11:30am, February 5th to April 1st (off the week of March 15 for Spring Break). Participant study guides ($15/ea) will be available at the first session, and group leaders will follow up with participants prior to your first session to confirm details. For more information, contact Jean Moore (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Rosemary Vickery (email@example.com).
